Privacy without tracking
Privacy Policy
USAisAmazing.com is designed to work without analytics or advertising tracking. This Policy explains the limited information that is still technically necessary to deliver, protect and moderate the service.
It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions.
Effective and last updated: August 3, 2026
Privacy at a glance
USAisAmazing.com does not use analytics services, advertising cookies, behavioral advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking at this time. We do not sell personal data or build advertising profiles.
The public map does not require an account and does not ask visitors for a name, email address, phone number, postal address or payment details.
Like any online service, limited technical request data must still be processed to load pages, prevent abuse, secure protected areas and review public submissions.
Information you choose to submit
A public contribution contains the supported link you provide and the map location you select. Approved entries may display that link, location and public metadata such as a title, thumbnail, source or description.
Do not submit private, confidential or sensitive information. Public submissions are reviewed before publication and may be retained, rejected, edited, hidden or removed for moderation and service integrity.
Limited technical data we process
To operate and protect the service, USAisAmazing.com or its hosting infrastructure may process:
- a random browser identifier stored locally and sent with map, like and submission requests;
- the submitted public link, selected coordinates, category and moderation status;
- IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or user-agent information and diagnostic or security logs;
- strictly necessary session, CSRF or access data for protected preview and moderation areas;
- rate-limit, duplicate-action and abuse-prevention records;
- when you choose wallet verification: the public wallet address needed for the signed challenge and balance check, a one-way address hash stored with the challenge, token/network choice, signature result, eligibility result and short-lived secure access cookie.
This information is not used for advertising, cross-site tracking or behavioral profiling.
Why we use this information
- to deliver the site, map and requested media previews;
- to remember a random device identifier for likes and duplicate-action protection;
- to receive, moderate, publish, correct or remove submissions;
- to prevent spam, fraud, attacks and misuse;
- to diagnose failures and maintain service reliability;
- to comply with valid legal obligations or protect rights and safety when required.
Local storage and necessary access data
The public map stores a random identifier in your browser's local storage. It is used for interactions such as likes, request throttling and duplicate-action protection; it is not an analytics identifier.
Protected preview or moderation tools may use strictly necessary cookies or browser storage for authentication, security and CSRF protection. USAisAmazing.com does not use advertising cookies.
Wallet verification uses a short-lived, host-only, Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict access cookie. The reusable grant is never returned in JSON and is not stored in localStorage or sessionStorage. Signing the displayed message is not a blockchain transaction.
Third-party maps, media and links
The site requests map tiles and labels from providers such as Esri and OpenStreetMap and may display or link to public media and property previews from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Open Library and Booking.com. Network requests to those providers can reveal standard technical data such as your IP address and browser information.
Opening or interacting with an embed, external link, wallet, blockchain service or map provider is subject to that provider's own terms and privacy practices. USAisAmazing.com does not control those independent services.
Retention and security
Submission and moderation records are kept for as long as reasonably needed to review, publish, defend or remove map content. Technical and security logs are kept only as long as needed for reliability, abuse prevention, legal obligations or infrastructure operations.
Reasonable safeguards are used to limit access to moderation and operational data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and updates
You can clear the random local identifier through your browser's site-data controls. You can also avoid opening third-party embeds or submitting a link.
To request review or removal of a submitted item, use an official USAisAmazing.com contact channel and identify the relevant public link or map entry. Do not post sensitive information publicly.
This Policy may change when the service, providers, law or planned features change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
